- STOP HEAVY BLEEDING QUICKLY - Designed to stem blood-flow through the promotion of accelerated clotting. This trauma bandage is made with 3 parts--A loose roll of gauze to fill and pack the wound, an absorbent pad to place over the packed injury and a gauze roll attached to the pad to wrap and secure the bandage.
- EASY TO USE - Hold the roll in one hand and use your thumbs to push the gauze into the cut or hole. Use as much gauze as you need until the hole is filled. Place the pad over the gauze filled wound and complete application by wrapping the attached gauze roll around the pad. Keep pressure on the wound until the bleeding stops-usually in about 3 minutes.
- MULTIPLE USES – Unfolded, the dressing can be used as a cover dressing for burns and abrasions, as a sling, to stabilize dislocated joints, to help splint broken limbs or as a postpartum dressing for field deliveries.
